Jeff Fierstein

Jeff has worked in the roofing industry for over 45 years, the last 31 years at for Ray Byers, at Byers Enterprises. In 1986 at the age of 29 he was appointed to the Board of Directors for Marshall Supply, a major roofing supplier in San Jose. Having sold his home in San Jose two days before the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, Jeff moved his family to Colfax where he resides today. In 1992 he joined Byers Black Gold Roofing, (Now Byers Enterprises inc.) where he helped to build one of Nevada County’s largest contractors. He has been involved with every facet of business development including at times keeping a staff of nearly one hundred employees safely providing for their families. Understanding the benefits of safety around the home and the changing environment here in the urban wildland areas of California, he is honored to give back to the community that has been so generous to his family over the last three decades.
